You are a journalist who is forced to sail to the mysterious island of Narapela after the events of the zombie outbreak of the original Dead Island. This game lets you unravel the origins of the zombie virus through the eyes of the would-be documentary journalist Cliff Calo.
Here, you will travel around the island and uncover the mysteries that are hidden on Narapela. You will be faced with hordes of infected zombies who will try to attack you. You will need to use your sword, spear, and other weapons to fight them off.
You will have to choose wisely between stealth and combat at certain moments in the game. You will have to be careful not to get yourself into a situation where you will be forced to fight. You will need to make sure that you can handle a fight with the zombies and that you will be able to escape from the island.
